This is actually one of my current pairs of shoes. I bought them for $6.00 at Wal-Mart, and my kids made fun of them, saying they looked like "grandpa shoes." So everyday, during lunch, I'd draw another band logo on them with Sharpies. Who made the cut? The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Badfinger, Cheap Trick, Raspberries, The Who, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, 10cc, The Monkees, Poco, The Rolling Stones, The Byrds, and (of course) Shoes (a great power pop band from Illinois).
